On May 13, 2026, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, “Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation,” Emomali Rahmon, led a delegation to visit and inspect Zonsen Industrial Group. Accompanying the delegation were the Presidential Advisor of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the Ministers of Economy, Trade, Finance, Industry, and Energy, and officials from the Export Agency, among others.

On the previous day, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping held talks with President Rahmon in Beijing. President Xi noted that mutual firm support constitutes the core essence of China–Tajikistan relations. Regardless of changes in the external environment, China and Tajikistan will forever remain good neighbors who watch over and assist each other, good friends who are candid and mutually trusting, and good partners who pursue development hand in hand. China stands ready to work with Tajikistan to build a closer China–Tajikistan community with a shared future and better benefit the peoples of both countries. President Rahmon stated that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Tajikistan and China in the new era continues to deepen and develop, with fruitful cooperation in trade, investment, transportation, and agriculture, steady progress in major projects, and increasingly close people-to-people exchanges, bringing tangible benefits to both peoples. Following the talks, the two heads of state signed and issued the Treaty between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Tajikistan on Permanent Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation and the Joint Statement between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Tajikistan on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership in the New Era. The two heads of state also witnessed the signing of over ten cooperation documents in such areas as party-to-party exchanges, economy, trade and investment, artificial intelligence, green mining and media.

 

 

President Rahmon’s personal visit to Zonsen brought great honor and encouragement to the enterprise. Zonsen’s founder and Chairman, Zuo Zongshen, together with Chairman’s Assistant Zuo Ying and Executive Vice President Li Yao, welcomed the delegation at the entrance of the Zonsen Exhibition Hall.

Accompanied by Chairman Zuo, President Rahmon and his delegation toured the Zonsen Exhibition Hall and learned about the company’s development history from its founding in 1982 to the present. From a motorcycle repair shop to one of China’s Top 500 enterprises, Zonsen’s more than forty years of endeavor left a deep impression on His Excellency the President. During the visit, two flagship UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle) and ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) models of Loncin—UWolf and XWolf—attracted considerable attention. These two rugged all-terrain vehicles are currently being introduced to the Tajikistan market in a pilot sales mode. With their powerful all-terrain capability, outstanding load-bearing performance, and high reliability under extreme conditions, they have received positive feedback and growing attention from local users in agricultural and pastoral operations as well as outdoor exploration. UWolf is known for its practicality, versatility, and exceptional durability, while XWolf sets a benchmark for performance with its surging power and intelligent control. Together, they serve as a vivid example of pragmatic cooperation between China and Tajikistan in the field of high-end equipment. Subsequently, President Rahmon’s attention was drawn to Zonsen’s hydrogen-powered motorcycle. This zero-carbon vehicle, embodying cutting-edge technology, is equipped with Zonsen’s new-generation hydrogen fuel cell system, achieving a seamless integration of zero emissions, long range, and rapid hydrogen refueling. It overcomes the range and recharging concerns associated with electric mobility and illustrates the boundless possibilities of green transportation through disruptive technology. The delegation also visited exhibition areas for Zonsen motorcycles, engines, agricultural machinery, and general-purpose machinery, inquiring about the operational scenarios of Zonsen Gomel agricultural machinery and expressing high recognition of Zonsen’s industrial layout.

 

 

President Rahmon and Chairman Zuo, both born in 1952, shared an immediate rapport and mutual respect. At the conclusion of the visit, President Rahmon proactively took Chairman Zuo’s hand for a commemorative photograph and inquired in detail about Chairman Zuo’s health and family, including the number of his children, while also sharing his own health status and information about his nine children. The discussion of family topics was accompanied by continuous laughter, creating a warm and cordial atmosphere. Upon departure, President Rahmon arranged for the Minister of Industry to add Executive Vice President Li Yao on WeChat to establish direct contact, and invited Zonsen Group to visit Tajikistan in the near future for inspection and investment, particularly in the production of engines and related industrial products.

Guo Zhijun, Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Tajikistan; Huang Maojun, Vice Mayor of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government; as well as Gong Rui, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, and Li Mingquan, Deputy Director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, accompanied the visit.

President Rahmon’s visit not only represents high recognition of Zonsen Group’s comprehensive strength, but also builds a new bridge for deepening cooperation between China and Tajikistan in fields such as green energy, agricultural modernization, and high-end equipment manufacturing. Taking this visit as an opportunity, Zonsen Group will continue to deepen its presence in markets along the Belt and Road, empower high-quality development of foreign trade with “Made in China” innovation, accelerate the global expansion of the Zonsen brand, and contribute its strength to building a closer China–Central Asia community with a shared future.
