Understanding the development direction of the world's advanced manufacturing industry, exploring the inheritance of a century-old enterprise, studying business philosophy, broadened international vision, and boosted Zonsen's transformation and upgrading-recently, the Japanese TPS lean production training activity organized by Zonsen Group was successfully completed.

The seminar was led by Zuo Ying, assistant to the chairman of the board of directors of the group. The trainees included 8 senior and middle-level young managers from the group headquarters, Zonsen Power, Zonsen Locomotive, and 3 trainees from Zonsen Supply Chain Enterprise. During the training trip from November 28 to 31, the students visited many well-known Japanese enterprises, including Nissan engine manufacturing plant, Rijin manufacturing plant, AVEX manufacturing plant, Kato manufacturing plant and Yanmar engine manufacturing plant. Through close contact with Japanese advanced manufacturing enterprises, they understood their operation concept, lean production culture and innovative technology application.

During this period, Shengichi Suzamura, a senior expert in lean production from Toyota, Japan, trained Zonsen students and explained the relationship between TPS (Toyota Production Mode) and TQM (Total Quality Management), TPM (Total Production Management), TQC (Total Quality Control) and the theoretical knowledge of TPS's value, characteristics, structure, main implementation methods, etc. Through training, Zonsen trainees realized that the introduction of TPS requires a change in awareness, method and organizational structure of the whole staff, and that TPS takes improvement as its core activity, must emphasize the time dimension and must adhere to long-term doctrine.

Under the guidance of TPS expert Liang Xu, Zonsen students also conducted a TPS Dojo drill. The students were divided into two groups, each group of members formed an assembly factory. By simulating the practical operation process of customer ordering, factory production and delivery to customers, the whole staff applied TPS theory in the simulation activities to continuously improve, achieve the delivery target and ensure the product quality. Through the summary and improvement of the continuous cycle in the exercise, it is fully emphasized that the function of the post can be maximized.

In just 4 days of intense and substantial on-site visits and learning, from business positioning, lean production, industrial chain collaborative improvement, talent cultivation, methodology, digitization, equipment management and other aspects, Zonsen students have the concept of lean production methods A deeper and more comprehensive understanding. Gao Xiangbo, a trainee and deputy general manager of Zonsen Tongji Manufacturing, said, "This visit has greatly inspired and touched the Zonsen team. It has been 60 years since the introduction of TPS by Japanese enterprises, and they are still in the continuous promotion of our company and upstream and downstream enterprises. After returning from the study and inspection, Assistant Zuo Ying asked the students to seriously summarize their learning experience, seriously reflect on the comparison, and arrange for the promotion and application of the whole group. At present, Zonsen Locomotive, Zonsen Engine, Zonsen General Machinery, Zonsen Dajiang, Zonsen Aviation Development, Zonsen Parts Division, Vietnam Zonsen, etc. have respectively formulated action plans to further promote TPS lean production.
